“MAKOR” DANCE TROUPE

The study of Jewish folk and modern Israelite dances and national culture is the main aim of the Dancing Class “Makor”. The classes are held by professional teachers five times a week. There are two groups: the junior, children aged 6-10 and the senior, teenagers aged 10-18. The troupe unites about 50 participants. “Makor” is expected on many stages of the town and in the Jewish community centers of Moldova. The exciting folk dances embellish the holiday performances connected with the celebration of the dates of the Jewish calendar. The Dance Troupe “Makor” is Children Creative Festivals Laureate.
