Teenagers' Club "Keren"

The opening of the Teenagers' Club "Keren" is above all, based on the wish of the teens, a need for meetings, communication on interesting topics, lectures of the history of the nation, tours of the country, meeting Sabbaths and celebrating other holidays, watching TV, playing games and dancing. This is their life, their topics and their needs. Three times a week their nice, well-equipped and comfortable club is filled with jokes, laugh and revelry. Besides dances, sport games, arrangements of funny plays, there are serious discussions with the psychologist and readings of the weekly Chapters of Torah. The lectures "Being good-looking" and the visit of Jewish places of Moldova in the framework of the program "On the tracks of Jewish history" are the teens' favourite activities.
It has not been an easy task to involve teenagers in the communal life. They have their own life principles - right or wrong and that is why it is crucial to get their trust, and think over an interesting program for discussions and lectures. The club is already 3 years and that means that teens enjoy their free time there.
