Mission
Kishinev Jewish Municipal Library has become not only the main source of Jewish books, but also a hub of activities for developing Jewish education and culture. It provides free access to its informational resources, creates favourable conditions for the preservation and retransmission of the heritage of Jewish nation and provides users with a wide variety of services.
Staff
15 professional librarians

Collection
45 000 books, newspapers, magazines, sheet music, records, graphic materials, audio and video tapes and CD, including 9 000 documents on a variety of Jewish topics.
Library materials are available in Russian, Romanian, Yiddish, Hebrew, English, German, French, Spanish and other languages

Users
10 900 users per year, including 4 500 children aged 5-12 years old. The library welcomes readers of different national backgrounds. More than 40% of the library’s patrons are Jewish.
